Hello, I’m Alan—and this is my devoted furry child, Doug.
Paws & Peace is more than a business; it’s a calling that grew from my own deep love for animals, and from personal experience with the pain of saying goodbye to beloved pets. I know how pets become treasured members of our families, and I believe every family deserves support that’s both genuinely compassionate and thoughtfully personal.
When you choose Paws & Peace, you are choosing the comfort of a truly personal service. As a sole trader, I am the only person you and your pet will ever deal with from start to finish. From the moment you make contact, to the way I care for your companion, you can trust there will be no handovers, no unfamiliar faces—just consistent, dedicated attention from someone who treats each pet as if they were my own.
My journey began after losing my own much-loved companion, Buster, and realising how important it is to have someone on your side who truly understands—someone to offer gentle guidance when it’s needed most. That’s why I started Paws & Peace: to help others through these difficult moments, whether supporting local families with dignified individual cremations or offering beautiful memorial keepsakes delivered across the UK.
The values at the heart of everything I do:
To me, this work isn’t just about a service or a product, but about honouring lives with true care and warmth. If you’d like to know more about how I work or simply need someone to listen, please know you’re welcome to reach out at any time.
With heartfelt wishes,
Alan
